Ohio Northern returns 17 lettermen from last year's squad that went 7-2 overall and won the OAC Regular Season title with a 4-0 record ... ONU also won its 11th consecutive OAC Championships crown under head coach Peggy Ewald ... Six OAC Champions and eight All-Conference honorees return, led by seniors Mitchell Murphy and Sean O'Neill ... Murphy is a 3-time OAC Champion as part of the 200 and 400 free relays and the 200 medley relay teams and was all_OAC in the 50 free and the 100 fly ... O'Neill earned All-OAC honors in the 100 Fly and the 200 back a year ago ... Junior Eric Chen is a 5-time OAC Champ on relays and is a 10-time All-OAC honoree in relays, the 100 and 200 free and the 200 I.M. ... Junior Logan Pfeifer is a 3-time OAC Champ on relay teams and is a 9-time All-OAC award winner in the 50 and 100 free and relays ... Junior John Raker won OAC crowns in the 500 free, 400 I.M. and 800 free relay and is a 5-time All-OAC honoree, adding the 200 fly to his list ... Sophomore Gabe Dauch won OAC titles on the 200 and 400 medley relay teams and was All-OAC in the 200 I.M. and 800 free relay squads ... Sophomore Ian Simpson was an All-OAC honoree in the 100 back ... Senior Zach Martin, juniors Joey Mullen and Mike Drake and sophomores Thomas Golba, Kevin Henderson, Tanner Holke and Braden Kuhn also posted top-8 finishes in individual events at last year's OAC Championships ... Sophomore Trevor Keriazes missed the 2015 OAC Championships with an injury and returns healthy this season ... Sophomores Conor Cassara and Duggan Trenary also return after lettering as freshmen in 2015 ... The Polar Bears will return to action Oct. 30 with a 6 pm dual meet at Wilmington.

ONU head coach Peggy Ewald: Ewald is in her 12th season at ONU and is the program's all-time winningest coach with an 87-35 men's dual meet record, a winning percentage of .713. She has been named OAC Men's Coach of the Year six times and had guided the Polar Bear men to 11 consecutive OAC Championships crowns and 10 straight OAC Regular Season titles.
