GAMBIER - The Ohio Northern Men's Swimming and Diving team fell to No. 2-ranked Kenyon Saturday afternoon at the Kenyon Aquatic Center in Gambier.
The Polar Bears fall to 2-1 overall and remain 2-0 in Ohio Athletic Conference play. Kenyon improves its record to 1-0.
Sophomore Jeremy Preston led the Polar Bears as he took first place in the 100 yard butterfly in 52.11 seconds.
Sophomore Eric Chen earned second place in the 100 yard freestyle in 47.97 seconds.
"Going back to back meets with less than 15 hours turn around is a great training experience that will provide the lessons for a championship format needed to be better prepared for the big meets to come at the end of the season" said Coach Peggy Ewald.
The Polar Bears will return to the pool as they host a tri-meet with Defiance and Findlay at 6 pm on Friday, November 7th at the ONU Sports Center.
