Friday's Meet: The Polar Bears will open up the home portion of their 2014-15 regular season on Friday night at home against Wilmington ... ONU has won eight consecutive OAC Regular Season championships and is riding a 27-match OAC regular season dual meet winning streak ... The men's teams will not be diving at the meet ... Ohio Northern opened the OAC portion of its schedule with a 202-58 win at John Carroll last Saturday ... Freshman Trevor Keriazes was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Swimmer of the Week for his efforts in the win ... He won the 100 yard breast in 1:01.68, the 200 yard breast in 2:18.24, the 200 yard IM in 2:02.40 and was also on Northern's winning 200 medley relay team that won in 1:38.44 ... Sophomore John Raker won the 200 yard fly in 2:00.37 and the 500 yard free in 4:59.49 ... Freshmen Gabe Dauch won the 100 yard back in :55.23 and the 200 yard back in 2:04.39 ... Junior Zach Martin won the 1000 yard free in 10:37.41 ... Sophomore Jeremy Preston won the 100 yard fly in :52.43, sophomore Eric Chen won the 100 yard free in :48.88 and sophomore Logan Pfeifer won the 50 yard free in :22.52 ... Wilmington opened its season with a 130-57 victory over Baldwin Wallace last Saturday ... Senior Mason Harris and junior David Hawk each won three events to lead WC ... Harris won the 800 free, the 400 free and was a member of the 200 free relay team, while Hawk swam the opening leg of the 200 relay and won the 200 free and the 100 free.

ONU head coach Peggy Ewald: Ewald in her 11th season at ONU and the program's all-time winningest coach with an 81-33 men's dual meet record, a winning percentage of .711. She has been named OAC Men's Coach of the Year six times and had guided the Polar Bear men to 10 consecutive OAC Championships crowns and eight straight OAC Regular Season titles.
