Six individuals win events to lead No. 15 Men's Swimming & Diving past Oberlin 139.5-102.5

OBERLIN -- Six swimmers won an individual event as the No. 15 Ohio Northern men's swimming & diving team defeated Oberlin 139.5-102.5 on Friday evening at Carr Pool.
The Polar Bears improve to 6-1 on the season, while the Yeoman fall to 2-2.
Freshman Eric Chen won the 200 freestyle in 1:49.59 and freshman John Raker won the 400 I.M. in 4:24.71.
In the 200 butterfly, senior Jordan Breitigam touched first in 1:59.10.
Raker came in second in the event in 1:59.51 and freshman Jeremy Preston finished third in 2:06.12.
Freshman Logan Pfeifer captured the 100 freestyle in 49.59, while junior Christopher Hoffman won the 500 freestyle in 5:04.44.
Junior Spencer Franzoi touched first in the 200 breaststroke in 2:17.49, with junior Jason Luthman finishing second and junior Kevin Krivanek finishing third in 2:18.48 and 2:21.84, respectively.
ONU also won both relays in the meet.
The 200 medley relay team of sophomore Mitchell Murphy, Chen, Krivanek and Preston finished in 1:40.57.
In the 200 freestyle relay, junior Brian Heilbronner, Hoffman, Murphy and Pfeifer won in 1:29.17.
Ohio Northern has a quick turnaround and will return to the pool on Saturday, when it travels to face Baldwin Wallace at 1 pm.
