"The environment tonight was very exciting, and a credit to Wilmington for swimming some great races and helping to create the atmosphere," ONU head coach Peggy Ewald said. "We saw a lot of our Polar Bears in some new situations and unfamiliar races, and they stepped up."
There were no diving events as Wilmington does not have a diving board.
The Polar Bears will return to action next Saturday with a dual meet with Olivet (Mich.) at Hillsdale, Mich.
