Men's Soccer to open 2018 season Sept. 1 at Transylvania

ADA — The Ohio Northern men's soccer team will open its 2018 season Sept. 1 at Transylvania (Ky.) under 21st-year head coach Brent Ridenour.
The Polar Bears will then return home to host Hope (Mich.) and Calvin (Mich.) Sept. 7-8 at Kerscher Stadium as part of the annual ONU Invitational.
Northern will also host Oberlin on Sept. 15 and Thomas More (Ky.) on Sept. 18 and will travel to Ohio Wesleyan, Anderson (Ind.), Rose-Hiulman (Ind.) and Adrian (Mich.) in non-conference action.
The Ohio Athletic Conference portion of the schedule kicks off on Sept. 29 when Ohio Northern hosts Marietta.
The Polar Bears will also host Wilmington, Heidelberg and Capital in OAC action.
OAC Tournament play will begin with the quarterfinals on Oct. 29 and conclude with the finals on Nov. 3.
The Polar Bears finished last season 12-6-2 overall and were third in the OAC with a 5-3-1 record.
