Men's Soccer receives votes in United Soccer Coaches preseason poll

ADA — The Ohio Northern men's soccer team received votes in the United Soccer Coaches preseason poll.
The United Soccer Coaches, formerly known as the National Soccer Coaches Association of America, released the poll on Friday, Aug. 4.
The Polar Bears climbed as high as No. 3 in the poll during the regular season a season ago.
Tufts (Mass.) took the top spot, while Calvin (Mich.) ranked second and St. Thomas (Minn.) rounded out the top three.
Northern opens the 2017 campaign on Friday, Sept. 1 as it takes on Grove City (Pa.) and the Geneva (Pa.) Tournament at 5 pm under 20th-year head coach Brent Ridenour.
