Men's Soccer lands seven Academic All-OAC honorees

ADA — The Ohio Northern men's soccer team had seven players named Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference in voting done by the leagues academic advisors.
Junior Chad Smith, and sophomores Tommy Troy, Dustin Lorenzo, Aaron Smith, Brock Hersch, Grant Allbritten, and Patrick Sabol all were honored.
Chad Smith is a Biology major and earns his second straight selection.
This season, he recorded two assists and appeared in all 21 games.
Troy earns his first Academic All-OAC honor.
The Biology major played in 15 matches, making five starts.
Lorenzo finished tied for first on the team with seven assists this season.
This is the first Academic All-OAC honor for the criminal justice major.
Aaron Smith, an athletic training major, earns his first Academic All-OAC honor.
He played in six matches this season, making one start.
Hersch appeared in 19 matches this season, and recorded two assists.
This is the first Academic All-OAC selection for the Business major.
Allbritten, a Biochemistry/Pre-Med major, earns his first Academic All-OAC honor.
He played in 17 matches this season, making four starts.
Sabol finished second on the team with five goals this season.
This is the first Academic All-OAC honor for the Pharmacy major.
The Polar Bears went 12-8-1 on the season and finished fourth in the OAC with a 5-3-1 mark under 17th-year head coach Brent Ridenour.
