ADA — A late overtime goal by sophomore Austin Horton lifted the men's soccer team to a 2-1 victory over Capital, Saturday night Kerscher Stadium.
The Polar Bears improve their record to 9-6-1 on the year and 2-2-1 in Ohio Athletic Conference play while Capital falls to 8-5-1, 3-1-1.
Northern struck first on the night as freshman Grant Cayot took passes from senior Keegan Ross and sophomore Dustin Lorenzo and hit a shot to the far post to make the score 1-0 in the 12th minute.

Defense would dominate the rest of regulation as neither team could find the back of the net.
In the 98th minute of play, Horton had a fast break and dribbled inside the 18-box and beat the defender to the far post to give the Polar Bears the 2-1 victory.
Capital managed to out shoot ONU on the night, edging them by a 16-14 margin.
