ADA — The Ohio Northern men's lacrosse team dropped a close one in its home opener against Adrian (Mich.) 13-12 on a cold Wednesday afternoon.
The Basics

- Senior Caleb Bennett (Stokesdale, N.C.) had his fifth career hat trick, as he finished the game with team-highs of 5 points and 4 goals.
- Junior Mark Mintzlaff (St. Louis, Mo.) had his first career hat trick with three goals, and he opened the scoring for the Polar Bears at 11:27 of the first quarter.
