ADA — The Ohio Northern men's lacrosse game with Trine (Ind.), slated for Wednesday night, was postponed due to lightning after a pair of delays totaling 1-hour and 45-minutes on Wednesday night at Dial-Roberson Stadium.
The game is tentatively rescheduled for Thursday at 4 pm.
Lightning struck for the first time pregame during the playing of the national anthem, sending the teams back into the locker room for a 1-hour, 10-minute delay.
The game started at 8:10 pm and the schools played just 1:37 before another round of lightning happened at 8:12 pm with 13:23 left in the first quarter and the game still in a 0-0 tie.
After heavy rains, lightning and pea-sized hail moved into the area, the game was officially postponed at 8:45 pm.
