Men's Golf opens 2018 fall schedule with second place finish at Polar Bear Classic

HARROD — The Ohio Northern men's golf team opened its 2018 fall schedule with a solid performance at its own Polar Bear Classic Saturday and Sunday at Colonial Golfers Club.
Senior Joshua Turich (Centerville) won Medalist honors with a 76-77—153 to lead the Polar Bears (2-1 overall).
Freshman Nolan Kimberly (Zanesville) was fourth out of 33 golfers with an 84-76—170, freshman Andrew Slusher (Covington) was seventh with an 81-81—162 and senior Nick Anderson (Mason) was eighth an 82-81—163.
Heidelberg edged Ohio Northern 334-335 to win the team title.
The Polar Bears will return to action Sept. 8 at the Best of the Best tournament at Red Hawk Run Golf Course in Findlay.
