This Weekend's Championships: The Ohio Northern men's golf team will compete at the 2017 OAC Championships tournament Friday-Sunday at River Greens Golf Club in West Lafayette, Ohio ... The Championships will be 72 holes played over three days with 27 holes on Friday and Saturday and the final 18 holes on Sunday ... Flighted tee times will start at 10 am on Friday, 9 am on Saturday and 11 am on Sunday ... The tee times for the first 54 holes are based off the results from the OAC Fall and Spring Invitationals ... ONU finished fourth of eight teams with a combined 72-hole score of 1220 ... Otterbein (1189), John Carroll (1215) and Heidelberg (1218) are seeded 1-3 and will play in the first five threesomes on Friday and Saturday ... Ohio Northern's five players will be in threesomes with Capital and Baldwin Wallace from 10:40-11:12 am on Friday and 9:40-10:12 am on Saturday ... The top 14 golfers (and ties) will earn All-Conference honors ... Sunday's tee times will begin at 11 am with teams in seventh and eighth place going off on the 10th tee and teams in places 1-6 teeing off on hole #1 ... Seniors Tyler Davis and Blaine Ricketts are returning All-Conference honorees for Ohio Northern ... Thus far this season, ONU is led by junior Zach Goodchild with a 74.1 average ... Davis and Ricketts are tied for second at 76.8 and sophomore Nick Anderson wis fourth at 78.6.
