Bio
Former Ohio Northern basketball standout Chad
Bostelman is in his third season at his alma mater,
serving as head men’s golf coach and assistant men’s
basketball coach.
Bostelman, a 2005 graduate, returned to the Polar
Bears after one year as an assistant coach at Ohio Wesleyan and two
seasons as a graduate assistant at Heidelberg.
Bostelman graduated from Ohio Northern with a B.A. degree in education and social studies in 2005. He then earned a Master’s degree in education from Heidelberg in 2007.
He will also be a lecturer in ONU’s Human Performance and Sport Sciences department.
Bostelman was a four-year letterman for the Polar Bears from 2001-04 and was a four-time All-Ohio Athletic Conference honoree.
He currently ranks 18th all-time on Ohio Northern’s scoring list with 1,187 points.
A Napoleon, Ohio, native, he also ranks seventh at ONU with 226 three-pointers, is eighth with a .832 free throw shooting percentage, is 14th with 258 steals and is 16th with 117 assists.
