Men's Basketball falls 95-64 at Heidelberg

TIFFIN — The Ohio Northern men's basketball team fell 95-64 at Heidelberg Wednesday night at Seiberling Gynamsium.
With the loss, the Polar Bears fall to 9-13 overall and 3-12 in the Ohio Athletic Conference while the Student Princes improve to 27-5, 11-4.
Freshman Garrett Chapin (Norwalk) lead ONU in scoring with 12 points.
Juniors Adam Scott (Wapakoneta) and Michael Berner (Springboro) and freshman Ethan Bell (Marion/River Valley) all added 10 points and Scott led the team with 6 rebounds.
Heidelberg's Emmanuel Perdue led all scorers with 22 points.
The Student Princes led 45-25 at halftime en route to the victory.
Ohio Northern made 25-of-63 field goals for 39.7% and was 6-of-23 from 3-point range for 26.1%, while Heidelberg made 40-of-66 field goals for 60.6% and was 8-of-20 from beyond the arc for 40.0%.
ONU was 8-for-14 for 57.1% at the foul line and HU shot 7-for-9 for 77.8%.
The Student Princes led the rebounding battle by a 38-31 margin.
The Polar Bears wrap up its regular season on Saturday when they host OAC foe Muskingum in a 4 p.m. tip-off as part of a women's-men's doubleheader.
