Aron Thress, Joey Hurless named All-OAC in Men's Basketball for 2015-16

ADA — Ohio Northern junior forward Aron Thress and junior point guard Joey Hurless were named All-Ohio Athletic Conference in men's basketball for the 2015-16 season in voting conducted by the league's 10 head coaches.
Thress was named to the First Team, while Hurless was named Honorable Mention All-OAC.
Thress led the team and is third in the OAC in scoring, averaging 18.1 ppg. He also led the team and is fifth in the league in rebounding at 7.7 rpg.
He had six double-doubles during the season, including four in the last five games and a 36-point, 11-rebound effort in a win at Baldwin Wallace.
He also surpassed the 20-point mark in 10 games this year.
Hurless currently leads the nation with a school record 195 assists and an average of 7.5 apg.
He averaged 7.0 ppg and also had a team-high 34 steals this year.
Hurless will enter his senior season ranked fourth all-time at ONU with 357 career assists.
The Polar Bears posted a 12-14 overall record and finished tied for fifth in the OAC with a 9-9 league mark in 2015-16.
