Wednesday's Preview: Ohio Northern enters Wednesday’s contest winners of six of its last eight games ... ONU is in a tie for fifth place in the OAC with Capital with an 8-8 record and is just one game out of fourth place, trailing 9-7 Baldwin Wallace ... The top four teams host seeds 5-8 in the OAC Tournament Quarterfinals on Feb. 23 ... ONU is coming off an 85-74 victory at Muskingum on Saturday ... Northern was led in the contest by junior Aron Thress, who recorded his third consecutive double-double with a game-high 22 points and a game-high 15 rebounds ... The Polar Bears saw four players score in double figures, as Thress, junior Konnor Baker with 14 points, junior Devon Allen with 11 points, and sophomore Joey DiOrio with 10 points all accomplished the feat ... Through 23 games this season, Thress leads the team and is sixth in the OAC in scoring with a 17.5 ppg average and leads the team and is sixth in the OAC in rebounding with a 7.4 rpg average ... Senior Devon Allen is second on the team in scoring at 11.6, junior Konnor Baker is third at 10.7 ppg and freshman Ryan Bruns is fourth at 10.2 ... Hurless leads the NCAA and the OAC with 185 assists ... Hurless is also fourth all-time at ONU with 347 career assists ... Bruns leads the OAC and all freshmen nationally with an ONU freshman record 53 blocked shots ... Allen is tied for the league lead with 59 made 3-pointers ... Baldwin Wallace is riding a 4-game winning streak after an 80-68 victory over Muskingum on Saturday ... Cam Kuhn led the Yellow Jackets with a team-high 18 points ... Jake Fetherolf had a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds and Jay Battle chipped in 11 points ... Kuhn leads BW in scoring and is second in the OAC this season at 21.4 ppg ... Fetherolf is second on the team in scoring at 11.9 ppg and leads the OAC in rebounding at 9.8 rpg ... Kuhn also shares the OAC lead with ONU's Allen with 59 made 3-FGs.
