Bio

Von Thomas is in his first season as an assistant coach at Ohio Northern. He will serve as the recruiting coordinator and will coach the Polar Bears' defensive line.

Thomas started out as an Offenisve Line and Defensive Line graduate assistant for Geneva College (Pa.) in 2020.

He then went on to Wilmington College in January 2021 as a Tight Ends coach intern, then returned there in October 2021 to be a Running Backs coach and offensive quality control intern until January 2023.

Thomas was then hired as a full-time Defensive Line coach and Student Success Coordinator at Wilmington in January 2023.

Thomas earned a Master's of Christian Higher Education degree in the winter of 2020 from Geneva College. He earned a Bachelor's of Arts in History and a minor in Education Studies from Bluffton University in the spring of 2020 where he was a member of the football team on the Offensive Line.
