Bio

Glenn Scheutzow enters his 18th season as an assistant football coach at Ohio Northern in his 24th overall season coaching football at the collegiate level.  

He is the program's assistant head coach and linebackers coach.

Scheutzow is currently in his second stint with the Polar Bears after previously serving as the defensive line coach from 2005-12. Following his first stint with the program, he became the defensive line coach at NCAA Division II institution Tiffin University in 2013 before returning to ONU in 2014.

He has also served as defensive coordinator and defdensive line coach at Ohio Northern.

Scheutzow was also the head coach for the Ohio Northern men’s tennis program from 2006-08. Over three seasons, he guided the Polar Bears to three OAC Regular Season championships, two OAC Tournament titles, two NCAA Tournament appearances, and received OAC Men’s Tennis Coach of the Year honors in 2007 and 2008.  

Prior to his arrival at ONU, Scheutzow spent six seasons with OAC foe Baldwin Wallace. While there, he spent five seasons working with the defensive line and one season coaching linebackers. In addition, he served as the strength and conditioning coach for multiple programs in the athletic department. 

He continues to hold his USAW national weightlifting certification.

Scheutzow has helped develop 44 All-Conference selections, eight All-Americans, and four OAC Player of the Year selections.  

He graduated from BW in 1999 with a degree in business administration. While there, he was a four-year letterman for the football program, starting 30 varsity games and earning the team’s Most Valuable Defensive Lineman in 1998.

He resides in McComb with his wife, Ashley, and their two children, Henley and Eden.
