Bio

Adam Moses is in his third season as an assistant football coach at Ohio Northern.

Moses came onto the scene for the Polar Bears two seasons ago in 2017, sitting at the control of the ONU special teams that finished first in the nation in punt defense, sixth in the nation in blocked kicks and 13th in the nation in punt return average.

The Cuyahoga county native has coached five all-conference players in his first two seasons at ONU.  Most recently, Chad Rex became one of the most prolific wide receivers in program history finishing second in career receptions and fifth in career yardage.

Moses came to Ohio Northern after a 3-year stint as an assistant coach at Hiram, where he served as offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach. In 2016, he controlled the Terrier offense to one of their most prolific in recent memory, as Hiram broke or re-broke a total of nine offensive records.

Individually, Moses helped lead senior wide receiver Joshua Philander to the school record in single-game touchdowns (4) and single season TDs (10) as well as a 1,000-yard season.  Additionally, he helped seven players to All-NCAC recognition.

Moses began his coaching career at his alma mater, Waynesburg (Pa.) University in 2013. He worked with the tight ends and wide receivers, where he saw two receivers and one tight end earn All-Presidents Athletic Conference (PAC) honors.

A 2013 graduate of Waynesburg, he completed a highly decorated career as a tight end for the Yellow Jackets. Moses earned three all-American awards as well as all conference and all region. In 2014, Moses was named to the PAC's 60th Anniversary team.

Moses graduated with a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from Hiram in 2016. In addition, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management from Waynesburg.

He resides in Ada.
