Saturday's Contest: Saturday's contest marks the fourth game of ONU's 2021 campaign. It is also ONU's second home game of the season and is the eighth game for the Polar Bears in calendar 2021. ONU is 549-503-36 in 127 seasons of play, a winning pct. of .521.

OU head coach Tim Doup: Doup is in his 10th season at OU with a 38-50 overall record. He is 1-8 against ONU.

Last Meeting: All-American RB Brock Martin ran for 108 yards and ONU turned in a dominating defensive performance in a 2020-21 season-opening 17-7 victory at Dial-Roberson Stadium. LB Johnny Rupp led an outstanding defensive effort with a career-high 13 tackles as the Polar Bears held the Cardinals to 269 yards of total offense. QB Brody Hahn was 15-of-28 passing for 189 yards and 2 TDs and ran 8 times for 57 yards.

ONU Last Week: QB Brody Hahn threw for a school record 502 yards and 7 TDs to lead ONU to a 62-27 victory at Wilmington. Hahn was 18-of-25 passing for 351 yards and a school record 6 TDs in the first half as ONU led 42-0 at halftime. Hahn hit WR Chase Rose on TD passes of 36 and 56 yards and WR Austin Eick for TDs of 59 and 2 yards as the Polar Bears led 42-0 at halftime. Rose finished the day with five receptions for 145 yards and Eick caught seven passes for 129 yards. ONU out-gained WC in total offense 650-332.

ONU Leaders: The Ohio Northern running game is led by All-American RB Brock Martin (65 att, 252 yards, 3 TDs) and QB Brody Hahn (33 att, 143 yards, 3 TDs). QB Brody Hahn is 68-of-112 passing for 972 yards and 10 TDs. WR Austin Eick (22 rec, 338 yards, 2 TDs), WR Chase Rose (16 rec, 317 yards, 5 TDs) and WR Jack DiMario (8 rec, 112 yards) alead the receivers. LB Johnny Rupp, LB Peyton Wilson, DB Jevon Taylor and LB Trevon Salter lead the defense with 22, 18, 16, and 16 tackles, respectively.

OU Last Week: #20 John Carroll posted a 41-17 victory over Otterbein in the Cardinals' third consecutive home game to start the season. JCU led 31-10 at halftime and 38-10 after three quarters. QB Bryce Hall completed 30-of 45 passing for 281 yards to lead the Otterbein offense. LB Greg Nolder matched his previous career-high with 14 tackles for OU. JCU out-gained OU 498-378 in total offense.

OU Leaders: The Otterbein running game is led by RB Siraj Muhammad (36 att, 193 yards) and RB J. Bost-Floyd (9 att, 77 yards, 1 TD). QB Bryce Hall is 72-of-120 passing for 712 yards and 4 TDs. This is the third consecutive season that OU has played at ONU, with the Polar Bears earning 17-7 and 45-35 wins the past two seasons.
