Senior Brody Hahn earns OAC Football Offensive Player of the Week recognition after record-setting game

ADA — Ohio Northern senior quarterback Brody Hahn (Louisville) has been named the Ohio Athletic Conference Football Offensive Player of the Week after his record-setting performance in the Polar Bears' 62-27 win at Wilmington on Saturday.
A three-time conference player of the week during the shortened 2020 season this past spring, Hahn threw for a school-record 502 yards and finished with seven touchdown passes against the Quakers on Saturday.
His 498 yards of total offense were also a school record.
Hahn was 18-of-25 passing for 351 yards and six touchdowns in the first half alone as ONU led 42-0 at halftime. He finished the day 29-of-49 passing and became the first Polar Bear in school history to eclipse the 500-yard passing mark in a game.
His 502 yards bested his previous school record of 463, which he set on April 9, 2021, at Heidelberg, and his 29 completions tied his own school record from that Heidelberg game in the spring.
Hahn's seven touchdown passes were the most for an Ohio Northern quarterback since Joe Zarlinga threw nine touchdown passes in a 70-39 win at Capital on Nov. 14, 1998.
Hahn now has over 7,000 career passing yards, as he threw for 4,877 yards in three seasons as the starter at Muskingum and has 2,182 passing yards in just seven games as a Polar Bear for 7,058 in his career.
The Polar Bears return to action on Saturday when they host Otterbein at Dial-Roberson Stadium at 1:30 p.m.
