ADA — Ohio Northern senior running back Christiaan Williams (Sidney/Anna) and junior defensive end Josh Bever (Ashland) were named Preseason All-America for 2021 by D3football.com.
Williams was named Second Team All-America, while Bever was a Third Team selection.

He became the first ONU freshman to rush for 1,000 yards, gaining 1,208 in nine games in 2016.
Williams also holds school records with 25 100-yard rushing games in his career and with 10 consecutive 100-yard rushing games to start his career.
Bever was named Third Team All-North Region by D3football.com and First Team All-OAC as a freshman in 2019 and was an All-OAC honoree as a sophomore in 2020.
Last season he led the team and was second in the OAC in sacks with 5.5 and was third in TFL with a team-best 7.5.
In 14 career games, Bever has 81 tackles, 16 sacks, 23.5 TFLs, and 3 forced fumbles.
