RB Brock Martin ran 12 times for 100 yards and two scores for the Polar Bears. The two teams combined for 1,039 yards, including 569 in the first half. MC held a 531-508 advantage. LB Mark Niles tied a career-high with 15 tackles and junior David Haseleu had 12 tackles to lead the Ohio Northern defense.

JCU Last Week: Then-#11 John Carroll held Capital to minus-18 yards rushing and posted a 44-0 Homecoming victory at Don Shula Stadium. RB Michael Canganelli ran 23 times for 160 yards and a TD and QB Anthony Moeglin threw for 181 yards and 3 TDs for the Blue Streaks. CB Connor Robinson and S Nate Leopold each had 7 tackles and LB Tyshawn Jones has 5 tackles and 2 interceptions to lead the JCU defense. John Carroll led 3-0 after the first quarter, 16-0 at halftime and 30-0 after three periods.
JCU Leaders: The JCU running game is led by RB Michael Canganelli (95 att, 432 yards, 4 TDs) and RB Sam Kukura (43 att, 252, 4 TDs yards). Last Year's Game: ONU scored touchdowns on both of its overtime possessions and got a big defensive stop on a 4th and 7 to hold on for a 27-20 2OT win at JCU. RB Christiaan Williams ran 31 times for 212 yards, including an 18-carry, 159-yard effort in the first half. He also caught four passes for 82 yards and had 294 all-purpose yards. The game was tied at 13-all after regulation and JCU went on top 20-13 on a 9-yard TD pass on its first OT possession. ONU tied it at 20-all on a 14-yard TD pass from QB Will Freed to RB Rodney Holmes. In the second OT, Freed hit WR Caleb Saalfeld on a 12-yard TD pass to put ONU up 27-20.
