Football receives 43 points in third weekly D3Football.com poll

ADA — The Ohio Northern football team received 43 votes in the third weekly 2018 D3football.com, released on Sunday.
This marks the 15th time in the last 17 seasons that the Polar Bears have been been mentioned in a national poll.
The 43 points tied for the 26th-most in the poll and leaves ONU just two points out of the top 25.
The Polar Bears (3-0 overall, 2-0 Ohio Athletic Conference) received 14 points in the preseason poll, 13 points in the first weekly poll and 25 points in the second weekly poll last week last week.
Ohio Northern joins Mount Union (#1), John Carroll (#15) and Baldwin Wallace (14 points) as OAC schools in the poll.
The Polar Bears will return to action on Saturday when they travel to Otterbein for a 2 pm kickoff.
