Saturday's Contest: Saturday's contest is the final game of a 3-game home stand to open ONU's 2018 season. ONU is 533-492-36 in 124 seasons of play, a winning percentage of .518. ONU is riding a modest 4-game winning streak, which includes the final two games of the 2017 season.

ONU Last Week: QB Anthony McFadden ran for a career-high 112 yards and threw for 223 yards and 2 TDs to lead Ohio Northern to a 42-14 victory over Muskingum at Dial-Roberson Stadium. The Polar Bears also got 81 yards rushing and a touchdown from RB A.J. Marks and 44 yards rushing and three touchdowns from RB Brock Martin. ONU led 21-7 at halftime and 28-7 after three periods. ONU out-gained MU 459-422 in total offense. Northern stopped MU on three of its trips to the red zone, forcing a missed field goal and stopped the Muskies twice on downs on back-to-back possessions in the third quarter. LB David Haseleu had a career-high 12 tackles and LB Mark Niles had 11 tackles for ONU.

ONU Leaders: The ONU running game is led by QB Anthony McFadden (22 att, 180 yards), RB A.J. Marks (18 att, 129 yards, 1 TD) and RB Brock Martin (29 att, 120 yards, 5 TDs). QB Anthony McFadden is 27-of-46 passing for 355 yards and 4 TDs. WR Chad Rex (13 rec, 128 yards, 2 TDs) and WR Caleb Saalfeld (5 rec, 113 yards, 1 TD) lead the receiving corps. LB Mark Niles, LB David Haseleu and S Andrew Valenti lead the defense with 26, 22 and 17 tackles, respectively.

WC Last Week: Wilmington opened up its 2018 season with a convincing 49-7 victory at Earlham (Ind.) in the Quaker Bowl on Sept. 1. QB Kyle Barrett completed 13-of-16 passes for 294 yards and 2 TDs in his first career start. RB D.J. Chambers ran seven times for 73 yards and a score. Wilmington scored on all six of its first half possessions and weathered a 2-hour lightning delay to lead 42-0 at halftime. LB Aaron Volle led the WC defense with six tackles. WC out-gained WC 496-168 in total offense.

WC Leaders: The WC running game is led by RB D.J. Chambers (7 att, 73 yards, 2 TDs) and RB Malik Sims (6 att, 52 yards, 1 TD). QB Kyle Barrett is 13-of-16 passing for 294 yards and 2 TDs. Last Year's Game: Ohio Northern scored on its first six possessions and led 42-12 at halftime, then held off a furious rally to hang on for a 49-45 win at Wilmington. The Polar Bears scored on its first six possessions in the first half, but the Quakers scored on their last six possessions to get within 49-45 with 1:21 to play in the game. RB Christian Williams had 125 yards rushing on 19 carries with a TD. QB Anthony McFadden completed 15-of-21 passes for 283 yards and 5 TDs in his first career start. WC was led by Luke Creditt, who completed 35-of-47 passes for 444 yards and five TDs. The two teams combined for 1,036 yards of total offense with WC holding a 585-451 advantage.
