ONU Last Week: ONU scored on its first six possessions and led 42-12 at halftime, then held off a furious rally to hang on for a 49-45 win at Wilmington. ONU scored on its first six possessions in the first half, but WC scored on its last six to get within 49-45 with 1:21 to play in the game. But ONU RB Christiaan Williams recovered Wilmington's onside kick and picked up a first down on a punishing 3rd-and-6 run with :30 left to ice the game. Williams finished with 125 yards rushing on 19 carries with one TD. QB Anthony McFadden completed 15-of-21 passes for 283 yards and 5 TDs in his first career start. He also ran 12 times for 45 yards and a score to finish with 325 yards of total offense. WR Chad Rex caught six passes for 135 yards and three scores for ONU. The two teams combined for 1,036 yards of total offense with WC holding a 585-451 advantage. ONU clinched its 11th winning season in the last 13 years.
ONU Leaders: The ONU running game is led by All-OAC RB Christiaan Williams (239 att, 1,444 yards, 7 TDs). All-OAC QB Will Freed is 155-of-259 passing for 2,026 yards and 20 TDs. WR Chad Rex (45 rec, 832 yards, 13 TDs), RB Christiaan Williams (35 rec, 372 yards) and WR Malachi Nolletti (34 rec, 423 yards, 4 TDs) lead the receiving corps. LB Zach Schmerge, LB Mark Niles and S Andrew Valenti lead the defense with 82, 79 and 63 tackles, respectively. DL Justin Croswell leads the team with 5.0 sacks.
BW Last Week: Baldwin Wallace closed out its home schedule with a 27-10 win over Heidelberg on Saturday. BW scored all of its points in the second half to win its second straight game. QB Jake Hudson, completed 14-of-20 passes for 157 yards and 2 TDs and ran for 69 yards on 11 carries with a TD. WR Deion Greer had 4 receptions for 70 yards and a 40-yard TD. Defensively, LB Sam Groff made a game-high 11 tackles. Trailing 10-7, BW scored 3 TDs in the final 17:42 to grab the win. BW led HU in total offense 382-373 and held the ball for 36:52.

Last Year's Game: Baldwin Wallace scored 21 points in the final 16 minutes to rally for a 31-21 victory over Ohio Northern in the season finale in Berea. Despite the loss, ONU clinched its 20th upper division finish in the OAC in the last 21 seasons, tying for fourth place in the 10-team league. RB Christiaan Williams ran 21 times for 170 yards and a TD to lead the ONU offense. Williams had 104 yards rushing at halftime. QB Will Freed completed 15-of-31 passes for 143 yards and 2 TDs and LB Zach Schmerge had a career-high 20 tackles for ONU. ONU led 21-10 at halftime, but BW scored the game's final 21 points for the win. BW out-gained ONU 423-277 in total offense.
