Zach has played in 28 games with 23 career starts at linebacker in his career ... Named Preseason All-American by The Sporting News magazine in 2016 ... Has 226 career tackles, which is just outside ONU's all-time top 10 ... Named 1st team All-OAC as a linebacker as a sophomore and again as a junior ... Earned 3rd team D3football.com All-North Region in 2015 and 2nd team in 2016 ... Has been named OAC Defensive Player of the Week three times in his career ... Junior Year (2016): Started all 10 games at middle linebacker ... Named preseason All-American by The Sporting News magazine ... Led the OAC with 103 tackles, including 6.5 tackles for loss ... Recorded 3.5 sacks, one INT and OAC-leading three forced fumbles during the season ... Had 15 tackles in 58-21 win at Capital on 10/8/16, earning him OAC Defensive Player of the Week ...
