Senior Patrick Angle named OAC Football Offensive Player of the Week

ADA — Ohio Northern senior quarterback Patrick Angle was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Football Offensive Player of the Week for his efforts in ONU's 38-31 victory at Capital on Saturday.
Angle threw for a career-high 398 yards and four touchdowns and ran 11 times for 30 yards and a fifth touchdown to lead the Polar Bears on the road.
He threw TD passes of 60, 61, 72 and 8 yards after running for a 5-yard touchdown in the first quarter.
This marks the second time in his career that Angle has received the honor, as he was also named on Nov. 11, 2013.
This season, he leads the squad and is third in the OAC with 1,508 yards and is fourth with 14 touchdown passes in six games this year.
The Polar Bears will play host to Muskingum Saturday night at 7 pm in the first night game in Dial-Roberson Stadium history.
The game will also be the first-ever night game on campus in school history.
