Josh Mohr and Luke Klinehoffer named ABCA/Rawlings All-Mideast Region

ADA — Ohio Northern sophomore Josh Mohr (Oregon/Clay) and junior Luke Klinehoffer (Zanesville/John Glenn) have been earned American Baseball Coaches Association/Rawlings All-Mideast Region honors for the 2018 season.
The teams are voted on by members of the American Baseball Coaches Association and the process is led by the ABCA NCAA Div. III All-America Committee.
Mohr was named Second Team All-Mideast Region, while Klinehoffer was named Third Team All-Mideast Region.
Mohr, a First Team All-OAC selection for Ohio Northern, earned his first career All-Region honor.
the sophomore had a career year on the mound for Northern, arguably becoming the ace of the staff.
Josh led the team and ranked second in the OAC this season with a 1.93 ERA and led the team with 57 strikeouts in 10 appearances this season.
His .215 opponents batting average ranks eighth all-time at Northern in a single season.
Klinehoffer became ONU's single-season hits record holder on his way to gaining his first career All-Region honor.
The 2018 First Team All-OAC honoree ranked second in the OAC with a .399 batting average and led the league with 71 hits. His 71 hits this season broke a 14-year old school record for most hits in a single season. Klinehoffer also led the charge as Northern set a new team record for hits in a single season (466), breaking the former school record from 1986.
Klinehoffer moved into 28th place all-time at ONU with 134 career hits, while his 48 runs scored this season ranks fourth all-time at ONU in a single season.
Luke was also named to the 2018 OAC Tournament All-Tournament team.
The Polar Bears finished the season with a 27-15 record and advanced to the OAC Tournament for the first time in 18 years under seventh-year head coach Gene Stechschulte.
