Belliveau homers in Baseball's 4-2 loss to Olivet (Mich.)

FORT MYERS (Fla.) -- Sophomore Dan Belliveau blasted a two run homerun in the sixth inning to lead the Ohio Northern baseball team in its 4-2 loss to Olivet (Mich.) on Friday afternoon at the Gene Cusic Classic.
The loss drops the Polar Bears to 4-4 on the season, while the Comets pick up their first win of the season and move to 1-0.
Belliveau finished the game going 2-for-4.
Jay Margo (1-0) was solid for the Comets, going eight innings and giving up just two runs.
Freshman Zach Maier (0-1) went six innings for ONU, giving up four runs on nine hits.
After four scoreless innings, the Comets struck in the top half of the fifth on an RBI double and a two-RBI single to jump in front 3-0.
The Polar Bears came back in their half of the fifth on Belliveau's homer.
Olivet picked up another run in the sixth on another RBI single to expand its lead to 4-2.
Andrew Brawley would pitch a perfect ninth inning for his first save of the season.
Ohio Northern will conclude its spring trip on Saturday when they face off against Anna Maria (Mass.) in a doubleheader that begins at 9 am.
