Baseball puts together a comeback for a 5-3 win at Albion (Mich.)

ADA — Senior Adam Yunker went 3-for-5 and scored three times to lead the Ohio Northern baseball team to a 5-3 win at Albion (Mich.) College, Thursday afternoon at Frank Joranko Field.
Ohio Northern moves to 6-3 overall while the Britons remain winless at 0-8.
After Yunker doubled to lead off the game and advancing to third on a fielder's choice, junior Matt Hampshire singled to left field to bring the runner in and give the Polar Bears the 1-0 lead.
Albion responded in the second with one run and took the lead with two runs in the fifth inning for the 3-1 advantage.
ONU kept composure and in the sixth inning, put up a run when Kevin Obarski doubled to bring in Hampshire.
Northern followed up in the seventh when Yunker doubled again and scored when pinch hitter Tom Walton doubled to center field, tying the game at 3-all. Walton scored himself later on an error to give the Polar Bears the 4-3 lead.
The game was sealed in ONU's favor in the ninth with one run for the 5-3 win.
Hampshire also had a good day at the plate, going 2 for 3 with one run scored and one run batted in, while Obarski went 2 for 4 with one RBI.

The Polar Bears host Marian (Ind.) University in a doubleheader match Saturday afternoon; the first game starts at 2 p.m.
