Fisher and Good named 2011 Academic All-OAC for Baseball

ADA — Junior pitchers Cody Fisher (Gibsonburg) and Justin Good (Miamisburg) have been recognized by the Ohio Athletic Conference faculty athletic representatives for their combined work on and off the field.
Fisher has been named Academic All-OAC for Baseball while Good has been named Honorable Mention.
To be eligible, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.25 GPA, be a key starter or reserve and be in at least his second collegiate year of participation in the sport.
Fisher, a finance major, went 2-4 record in 11 appearances this season and recorded a 3.21 ERA. He finished fifth on the team in strikeouts with 27.
Good, a pharmaceutical business major, posted a team-best 5-3 record during the 2011 season and had a 7.16 ERA. He was third on team in strikeouts at 35 in 49 innings of work.
The Polar Bears finished the 2011 season 19-19 overall and 4-14 in the OAC.
