The College of Wooster women's tennis team fell to Ohio Northern University 9-0 Saturday in a non-conference tilt at Ada, Ohio.

The Scots (2-11) were competitive at several spots in the lineup, including at No. 1 singles, where Ashley Stockwell played a strong second set in a 6-0, 6-4 setback. Other solid efforts came courtesy of Kelsey Jenkins, who lost 6-2, 6-3 at the No. 2 position, and Melanie Chin, who took three points in the second set of a 6-1, 6-3 defeat at No. 6 singles.

In doubles actions, the No. 1 tandem of Rachel Dietz and Jenkins came up short 8-3, as did No. 2's Stockwell and Lauren Gilliss.

Wooster will aim for better results when it hosts Baldwin-Wallace College Monday at 3:30 p.m.
