Joe Maiani became the Ohio Northern Wrestling program's first three-time All-American with his runner-up finish at 150 pounds at the 1998 NCAA Division III Championships.
Maiani also placed sixth in 1997 and eighth in 1996, earning All-America honors at 142 pounds in each of those seasons.
He was also a three-time NWCA Scholar All-American.
Maiani also won Ohio Athletic Conference titles at 142 pounds in 1996 and 1997.
He currently ranks fifth all-time in ONU history with a 132-37 career record.
